INSIDE MOUNT
It is industry standard for blinds fitting into the window reveal to sit flush with the front of the reveal. The factory will make the appropriate deductions for the product type and fixing position.
FACTORY STANDARD DEDUCTIONS
INSIDE MOUNT WIDTH DEDUCTION 10mm
Note: Smart Privacy blinds only have a 6mm deduction in the width for inside mount.
INSIDE MOUNT DROP DEDUCTION 0mm
Note: the drop of the blind in the closed position will be your full drop measurement.
Check that the reveal is deep enough for the V to fit into. Refer to the track width notes in Specifications. The depth required will vary with the different track size. Ensure there are no protruding window handles/locks etc that will interfere with the sliding action of the panels.
WIDTH
- Measure neat internal width of reveal
- Measure at three width points – top, middle and base of reveal. Use the shortest width.
DROP
- Measure neat internal drop of reveal. Measure at three drop points – left, middle and right of reveal.
- Use the shortest drop measurement.
Note: Advise client if window reveal is out of square as this can cause irregular light down sides of blind and/or across base of blind. The blind can only be made square

WIDTH
- Measure from outside edge of architrave to outside edge of opposite architrave at three points – top, middle and base.
- Use the widest width measurement as blind should cover architrave completely.
DROP
- Measure from top of architrave to base of lower architrave or floor. Measure at three points.
- Use the shortest drop measurement.
