  • Sewless (Aluminium Back Extrusion)

The Sewless Roman Blind is manufactured using an aluminium extrusion on the back of the blind into which the fabric is splined (tucked). This creates a fine tuck line on the front of the blind. The extrusion is not visible from the front of the blind, which means that this style of Roman Blind provides an elegant and simple appearance.

The cords to enable lifting of the blind are attached via a PVC ring clipped to the extrusion, creating the Roman Blind folding effect.

A feature of the Sewless Roman is that there is no need for sewing, which eliminates the needle holes that may allow light to show through some blockout fabrics.

  • Plantation (Timber Battens)

The Plantation Roman Blind is accessorised with timber battens attached to both the front and back of the blind. The battens are available in a range of painted and stained finishes to enhance the fabric colour, and will be supplied in the same colour for both the front and back. The profile of the front batten is half round, and the profile of the back batten is flat. The battens are secured to the fabric with small staples through the back batten, which also secures the front batten.

The cords to enable lifting of the blind are attached to the back batten via a small metal eyelet, creating the Roman Blind folding effect. A 50mm timber pelmet is attached to the top of the blind in the same colour as the battens supplied. A feature of the Plantation Roman Blind is that there is no need for sewing, eliminating the needle holes that may allow light to show through some blockout fabrics.
